Old Chicago donated $1,000 to the Association of the United States Army as part of grand-opening events
Stefano’s, a franchisee of Old Chicago – a division of Colorado-based Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc. and the pizza and beer authority known for its “World Beer Tour” and 110 unique, cold beers – opened the franchisee’s first Texas Old Chicago in Killeen on Monday, Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. The new restaurant is located on 2901 East Central Expressway, located in front of the Home Depot and Best Buy shopping center.
To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, the Killeen Old Chicago hosted several pre-grand-opening events, including free neighborhood lunch and dinner events during which all donations from attendees benefitted The Association of the United States Army. Through the neighborhood events, Old Chicago – together with its guests – donated $1,000 for the Association to foster public support of the Army’s role in national security and provide professional education and information programs to soldiers.
“We are honored to open our very first Old Chicago in Texas, while also supporting the Association of the United States Army as part of our grand opening,” said Scott Stevens, owner of Stefano’s. “Old Chicago will bring great-tasting pizza and a variety of beer to Killeen, where we’re eager to meet and build lasting relationships with the community.”
The 6,000-square-foot Old Chicago restaurant will seat 200 guests and offer:
