Smashburger Sizzles into Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area in 2010
Areios, LLC Brings Burger Magic with Four Locations
Smashburger, a fast-casual 'better burger' restaurant will sizzle into the Greater Kansas City area in 2010 and offer burger lovers a new and convenient quality dining option.
Smashburger will offer diners a 'better burger' experience, and will also feature special menu items that highlight Kansas City's regional flavor.
Areios, LLC will introduce Smashburger to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area and beyond as part of a 30-store franchise agreement signed in 2008. Other existing locations for the franchise owners include stores in Colorado and South Dakota. Areios, LLC founders Ron Chaulk and Jim Cagle have more than 30 combined years of industry experience in franchised and new restaurant concepts.
Known for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers start with a one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Angus beef-fresh, not frozen-smashed, seared and seasoned on a flat grill. Served on butter-toasted artisan buns and topped with a selection of real cheeses, Smashburgers feature the freshest produce and top-quality condiments.
Smashburger is known for its savory burgers, but also serves up Smashchicken sandwiches, Smashdogs, and Smashsalads, with delicious sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic-seasoned Smashfries. Burger lovers can pair their meals with Häagen-Dazs shakes, root beer floats, beer, and wine.
'We are excited to bring Smashburger to the greater Kansas City area,' says franchise owner Ron Chaulk. 'We believe in the concept and the quality of the product - and we know burger lovers on both sides of the state line will quickly grow to love our burger magic.'
