Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. Announces the Addition of Two Senior Marketing Professionals

  • Carrols Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TAST) today announced that it has added two senior marketing professionals to the Company. Todd Coerver, formerly Vice President of Marketing and Innovation of Whataburger Restaurants LP, has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Carrols' Taco Cabana division, while Jason Abelkop, formerly Senior Vice President of Marketing and National Media of Arby's Restaurant Group, has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Carrols' Pollo Tropical division.

    Alan Vituli, Carrols Restaurant Group's Chairman and CEO commented, 'We are very pleased to be bolstering our marketing effort by adding Todd and Jason to the Carrols' team. Jason has significant experience in brand development in both the U.S. and international markets, and is therefore ideally suited to lead Pollo Tropical's marketing efforts.
