Announces the addition of seven new items and whole grain options to their extensive menu.
Guests will now be able to order any of California Pizza Kitchen's innovative pizzas on a new honey-wheat with whole grain crust and any of their twelve pastas on multigrain penne.
Joining CPK's list of vegetarian soups is a Tuscan White Bean Minestrone with Cannellini beans, tomatoes, zucchini, spinach, onion, celery, Parmesan cheese and homemade garlic-herb croutons.
A new Specialty item is also being introduced to the menu. Guests will be able to choose either Baja Fish Tacos with sautéed wild-caught Mahi Mahi or Steak Tacos with grilled steak, accompanied by fresh shredded cabbage and homemade ranchito sauce. Both versions will be served with blue & white corn tortilla chips and homemade roasted tomato salsa.
CPK's sandwich menu will double with the introduction of three new options:
• Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Chilled-grilled chicken breast, dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, celery, onions and mayonnaise, topped with sliced fresh Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
• Albacore Tuna Salad CPK's tuna salad with mild onions, celery and mayonnaise, topped with sliced fresh Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
• Chicken Club Chilled-grilled chicken breast with applewood smoked bacon, sliced fresh Roma tomatoes, fresh avocado, shredded lettuce and mayonnaise.
All sandwiches are served on either herb onion or garlic cheese focaccia bread and accompanied with a cup of any of CPK's vegetarian soups, a classic Caesar Salad or Szechuan slaw.
A dessert classic, White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake, will join CPK's other popular desserts including Red Velvet Cake, Key Lime Pie and Tiramisu.
