UNO Partners with Ocean Spray to Offer Cranberry Enhanced Fall Menu

These two well-known, Massachusetts-based companies have joined creative forces to deliver some exciting new dishes including UNO(R)'s artisanal Kabocha Pumpkin Soup made from Kabocha pumpkin squash grown especially for UNO each year. Accented with Ocean Spray Sweetened Dried Cranberries, the flavors combine to offer a sweet and savory alternative on a cold fall day.

If you're looking for something lighter, but with a huge explosion of taste, try the Power Salad with Goji Mix and Ocean Spray Sweetened Dried Cranberries. This healthy, 420-calorie dish is high in fiber (8 grams) and low in saturated fat (2 grams). It combines a flavorful mix of sliced chicken breast, spinach, plum tomatoes, carrots, feta cheese, red grapes, and a 'power mix' of Thompson raisins, soy nuts, almonds, pepitas, and loaded with antioxidant cranberries and Goji berries, the latter of which are harvested only on land near the Himalayas. Now that's nutritious flavor, courtesy of America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant(1).

There are several other dishes that cover the flavor spectrum, including a Crunchy Chicken Wrap and UNO's Whole Grain Brown Rice, both complemented with Ocean Spray Sweetened Dried Cranberries. Wash it all down with autumn favorites such as the Blue Cosmo which features Ocean Spray 100% Juice Cranberry & Blueberry blend, or the Autumn Breeze Cocktail, or a non-alcoholic Harvest Lemonade, which combines fresh lemonade with Ocean Spray 100% Juice Cranberry & Pomegranate blend.

Cranberry inspired dishes were also on the menu for UNO Executive Chef Christopher Gatto who served as guest judge for Ocean Spray's Ultimate Cranberry Recipe Contest Oct. 5 in conjunction with Ocean Spray's Big Apple Bog in Rockefeller Center(R).
