New and Nationally Recognized Chains Search for Growth in Franchise Community
Baja Fresh, Canyons Burger Company, Calbi Fusion Tacos and Burritos, La Salsa and Sweet Factory to Be Represented at West Coast Franchise Expo
Local franchise companies Baja Fresh, Canyons Burger Company, Calbi Fusion Tacos and Burritos, La Salsa and Sweet Factory are each searching for franchise growth throughout the United States and are excited to announce their representation at the West Coast Franchise Expo in Los Angeles October 2nd- 4th.
Canyons Burger Company and Calbi were acquired by the investors of Baja Fresh. Canyons Burger Company, uses 100% fresh Black Angus Beef in their line of specialty burgers and focuses on fresh high quality ingredients wrapped around an active outdoor lifestyle. Founded in late 2008, Calbi Fusion Tacos and Burritos blends the traditional tastes of a Mexican taco truck and the flavors of authentic Korean BBQ. The company gained exposure in the Los Angeles market through the use of its mobile restaurants. Chief Development Officer James Walker stated, 'We are thrilled to take on the challenge of growing these two excellent concepts. I hope the West Coast Franchise Expo will expose these brands to those who might otherwise be unaware of their potential.'
In addition, established restaurant group Fresh Enterprises Inc. will represent the Baja Fresh and La Salsa brands at the expo. Founded in Newbury Park in 1990, Baja Fresh operates or franchises 256 restaurants in 25 states, all featuring its fresh Mexican-inspired food, made to order and served in a hurry. La Salsa operates or franchises an expanding chain of quick, casual restaurants specializing in tacos, burritos, and other items served in the style of Mexico. Celebrity chef Mark Miller will make a special appearance during the expo to sign his book 'Tacos.' Chef Ana Garcia will also provide a salsa making demonstration.
Popular candy chain Sweet Factory will also focus on expanding with a booth at the expo. Sweet Factory is the leading bulk candy retailer in the nation, focused on providing the highest quality and largest variety of proprietary and licensed candy available in America's high-traffic retail malls.
