CEO of Baja Fresh and La Salsa Develops New Restaurant Investment Group

Growth Concepts, an Orange County, California-based restaurant investment group, is excited to announce its acquisition of Atlanta-based Canyons Burger Company. The acquisition is the first for the new company led by David Kim, CEO of Baja Fresh and La Salsa, along with a group of investors. The purpose of the restaurant 'incubator' company is to discover and develop today's hot new restaurants into tomorrow's strategic brands.

Canyons Burger Company is looking to take the quick-causal burger segment to a new level. The brand focuses on fresh high quality ingredients wrapped around an active outdoor lifestyle. Canyons uses 100% fresh Black Angus Beef in their line of specialty burgers. Additionally, the restaurant offers several vegetarian options and is proud to serve premium white meat hand battered chicken tenders that are cooked to order.

Founders and experienced restaurant industry professionals, Sonny Crumpton and Nick Binnings, will maintain their positions of President and COO respectively. Canyons is very active in supporting the local community and spends a great deal of time assisting local school athletic programs. Canyons has created an impressive franchise model, and the founders are passionate about their business and truly involving individuals with the active outdoors.
