QCI Clean Helps Hotels Go Green

'Going Green.' It's on everyone's mind today and many businesses have gone down that path and found it's good for business. But just how can you use it to your advantage?

Going green is a great public relations spin for one. Being able to tell your customer's that you use environmentally safe, green, cleaning products in your hotel can be the deciding factor for a customer looking for a room. Also, many products will actually save you and your business money. Plus, it really is good for the environment.

Here are three green products and a description of how they can save you money. Each is different, and the savings many not be as obvious at first glance.

But by the second year of use, your savings will be in the black, plus these bulbs last 6-8 times longer than traditional bulbs so you save the cost of constantly replacing the bulbs in every room. CFL bulbs are a smart business decision.

These save money by keeping rooms at a constant temperature by stopping the flow of air in or out. Not having to run the heat or A/C saves you money and because much of the heat we use comes from power plants that use coal, cutting down on the amount of coal that needs to be burned to heat your hotel is Going Green!

There are lots of ways to go green and something that is highly recommended from a business standpoint and from a public relations stand point. These are just a few ideas to help get you started, so don't stop here! Keep looking and find a good option for your hotel.
