New Burger Chain Serves Up Fresh Jobs to Michigan
Five Guys(R) Burgers and Fries, a nationally renowned fast casual burger joint, is finally coming to the Great Lake State. Five Guys has built a cult-like following in 27 other states and is now looking to do the same in Michigan. Three locations are slated to open in the next year in Macomb, Southfield and Warren.
BAC Holdings, LLC, the franchise owners in Michigan, are scheduled to open 40 locations within the next eight years. These stores will bring up to 1000 new jobs to Michigan's economy and job market. The first three Michigan locations are primed for placement at: m-59 in Macomb Township, 9 Mile and Greenfield in Southfield and 12 Mile and Mound in Warren. The first location in Macomb Township is scheduled to open at the end of November, with the others following in December and February respectively.
"We are excited to become contributors to the Michigan community and at the same time satisfy their cravings for fresh, made-to-order burgers," Mike Abrams, franchise owner stated. The menu at Five Guys is simple: burgers, hotdogs, fries, as well as veggie and grilled cheese sandwiches ... that's it! The small menu allows Five Guys to focus on making the best product possible. The decor is purposely simple so that it does not take away from the most important part of this restaurant, the food.
The burger patties are hand-formed daily and made to order with fresh American Beef that is preservative-free and never frozen. The fries are whole potatoes, cut daily and cooked to order in fresh peanut oil. The rolls are custom-baked and shipped from the Five Guys bakeries and are a bakery-quality roll with no artificial preservatives or trans fats.
The family-owned Five Guys restaurant group has served award-winning burgers and fries for over 20 years. There are now over 300 restaurants in 30 states and over 1500 units in development across the country.
