Restaurants on the Run Acquires Seattle Based Restaurant Delivery Service, RestaurantsToGo! |

Restaurants on the Run has acquired RestaurantsToGo -- the Seattle based restaurant food delivery service. This is Restaurants on the Run's eighth acquisition since the company's inception nearly 15 years ago. |
The acquisition adds another 50 restaurant partners to the Restaurants on the Run delivery family, which now exceeds 900 restaurants and includes such corporate chains as Rubio's, Claim Jumper, California Pizza Kitchen, The Cheesecake Factory, BJ's Restaurant and more. It also extends their restaurant food delivery range into the Northwest and solidifies the restaurant drop-off catering and food delivery service as the West Coast's largest restaurant delivery service.
"We are excited about the growth potential of putting our model into RestaurantsToGo's current business structure, while still retaining all of the local expertise of the existing Seattle staff. We are confident that this will be yet another successful step towards our long term expansion goals," said Michael Caito, CEO of Restaurants on the Run, Inc.
The official name change from RestaurantsToGo to Restaurants on the Run took place on July 1st, 2008. In addition to the name change, other customer benefits brought by the acquisition include new online ordering features, such as group ordering, simple catering, live order tracking and a customer rewards program.
Founded in 1993, Restaurants on the Run is the West Coast's largest restaurant food delivery service specializing in drop-off corporate catering and restaurant delivery from over 900 restaurants throughout Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Seattle.
