  • Dunbar Associates My HP Vista Notebook finally loads the Second Life viewer without crashing and I have been touring SL using my Inworld avatar, Limerick McMahon.

The best sites I've visited are Dublin, Scripts College, International Reference Library and Money Island. I made about $80 Linden by completing a survey offered on a Money Island ATM. So far, I have saved every bit of it. There are plenty of free activities and inventory items available.

My wife is enrolled in a MLS program and she attends lectures in Second Life , Elluminate and Blackboard . UNLV's innovative Distance Learning wizard, Patti Shock, has a new blog Second Life in Hospitality Education with some interesting links.

I have tried searching for food service resources on SL and the current offerings are slim. There are many universities, public radio stations, news services and corporations with a major presence InWorld. I'm sure the volunteers at the International Library Reference Desk could help with food service related URLs.
