Now Available at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago: The Mar-A-Lago Turkey Burger, Declared by Oprah Winfrey as a Top Pick for Summer
Oprah Winfrey's quest for the most delicious turkey burger in the country has come to a successful finale.
With a special appearance by Mr. Donald J. Trump on The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired on May 16, 2008, Ms. Winfrey declared her most memorable turkey burger experience to have occurred at the real estate developer's private Mar- A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla. earlier this year. As a result, she included the burger in a special episode featuring her "Top Picks for Summer".
In celebration of this honor, Mr. Trump is bringing the Mar-A-Lago Turkey Burger to Ms. Winfrey's hometown. Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, which opened earlier this year to rave reviews -- including being named to the Conde Nast Traveler annual Hot List in May 2008 -- is pleased to introduce the Mar-A-Lago Turkey Burger ($26). This delectable, crave-inducing burger, served with pear chutney and tamarind barbecue sauce on the side, along with a choice of French Fries or a Garden Salad, will take residence on the property's room service menu as well as on the lunch menu at its fine dining restaurant, Sixteen (Monday-Friday from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m.).
"A perfectly prepared turkey burger is a hard thing to come by," said the property's Executive Chef Frank Brunacci, one of just a few people who hold the highly coveted recipe. "Whether for lunch or a late-night bite, our guests will soon understand why Ms. Winfrey would travel thousands of miles to enjoy it."
