Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWLD) today announced the opening of its 500th restaurant nationwide, a franchised location in Grand Blanc, Michigan. |
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar restaurants are the recipients of hundreds of 'Best Wings' and 'Best Sports Bar' awards across the country. It is a favorite destination for wings, beer and sports lovers thanks to its 14 signature wing sauces, 20 plus beers on tap and dozens of TVs tuned to local and nationally broadcast sporting events. Its high energy, social atmosphere boasts an irreverent attitude, inspiring its guests to say: 'You Have to Be Here(TM).'

Buffalo Wild Wings first opened its doors in 1982 in Columbus, Ohio next to The Ohio State University campus. The Company was founded by Scott Lowery and Jim Disbrow after they couldn't find the Buffalo, NY-style chicken wings they were craving. The Company began trading on the NASDAQ in November 2003. Its locations are two-thirds franchised, one-third company-owned.
The Grand Blanc Buffalo Wild Wings opened on Sunday, March 16th at 11am and celebrated the 500th designation with cake and by giving 500 prizes to guests. They are located at 8251 Trillium Circle Avenue Suite 102, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
