Casual dining restaurant to donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold to the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama during opening week |
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin) will open its fourth Alabama restaurant in Huntsville, located at 365 The Bridge Street NW, next to the Monaco Pictures 14 Screen Cinema off Governors West, on Monday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. Red Robin serves high-quality gourmet burgers, appetizers, entrees, salads and beverages in a kid- and family-friendly atmosphere. As part of its grand opening celebrations, the Huntsville Red Robin(R) restaurant will host a Burgers With A Heart(R) fundraiser to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama.
Through Burgers With a Heart(R), Red Robin will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold to the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama during grand opening week from Feb. 25 - March 2. The money raised will help purchase materials for the Boys and Girls Clubs' computer labs and education departments. Red Robin focuses its support on local and national causes that promote the health, welfare and education of children, families and citizens in the communities it serves.
"On behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama, I would like to thank Red Robin for choosing to support us during its opening week celebration," said Patrick Wynn, Vice President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama. "This donation will help to improve our computer labs and education departments by supporting the children's effort to raise $180,000 for these facilities."
"We are thrilled to be expanding the Red Robin family of restaurants in Alabama, while also supporting such a wonderful community cause," said Eric Houseman, Red Robin president and chief operating officer. "We invite everyone to come to Red Robin and enjoy one of our more than two dozen high-quality gourmet burgers to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama as we open our newest restaurant in Huntsville."
The 5,548 square foot Huntsville Red Robin(R) restaurant will seat 204 guests. Red Robin has three additional restaurants in Alabama including an additional location in Huntsville and two locations in Montgomery and Birmingham.
