Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin) will open its 17th Oregon restaurant in Portland, located at 10005 NE Cascade Parkway, located in the Cascade Station Center at Interstate 205 and Airport Way, on Monday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. Red Robin serves high-quality gourmet burgers, appetizers, entrees, salads and beverages in a kid- and family-friendly atmosphere. As part of its grand opening celebrations, the Portland Red Robin(R) restaurant will host a Burgers With A Heart(R) fundraiser to benefit the Safety Learning Center at the Historic Belmont Firehouse.
Through Burgers With a Heart(R), Red Robin will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold to the Safety Learning Center at the Historic Belmont Firehouse during grand opening week from Feb. 18 to 24. The money raised will help support fire and life safety education in the Portland Metro community for kids, families and the elderly. Red Robin focuses its support on local and national causes that promote the health, welfare and education of children, families and citizens in the communities it serves.
"On behalf of the Safety Learning Center at the Historic Belmont Firehouse, I would like to thank Red Robin for choosing to support us during its opening week celebration," said Don Porth, Public Education Officer with Portland Fire & Rescue and manager of the Historic Belmont Firehouse. "This donation will help ensure that the Portland Metro community has access to quality fire and life safety education programs."
"We are thrilled to be expanding the Red Robin family of restaurants in Oregon, while also supporting such a wonderful community cause," said Eric Houseman, Red Robin president and chief operating officer. "We invite everyone to come to Red Robin and enjoy one of our more than two dozen high-quality gourmet burgers to support the Safety Learning Center at the Historic Belmont Firehouse as we open our newest restaurant in Portland."
The 6,362 square foot Portland Red Robin(R) restaurant will seat 207 guests. Red Robin has 16 additional restaurants in Oregon including three locations in Portland, two in Hillsboro and one location in Beaverton, Clackamas, Eugene, Gresham, Salem, Sherwood and Wilsonville. Restaurant Development Company, a franchisee of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., owns and operates four locations in Albany, Bend, Medford and Roseburg.
