Port City Java Signs Dubai Development/Approves Additional Site at North Carolina State University

  • Port City Java Wilmington, N.C. based Port City Java announces it has signed a development agreement with the Almahmoud Group, a Dubai based company, to develop the Port City Java Brand in U.A.E., Jordan, Kuwait & Qatar.

    The development agreement calls for a minimum of 25 cafés over the next ten years. The company currently has an operating unit in Saudi Arabia and it is excited to continue The Brand's development in the Middle East. The company feels Dubai is a particularly good business environment to develop the product and Brand in the Middle East.

    NEW UNIT

    The company announces it has approved an additional unit to be opened on the campus of North Carolina State University. The new café unit will be located in the School of Design, which is located on the main campus. The company is excited to execute another unit with NCSU Dining Services, which operates the food service at North Carolina State University, and to continue to develop the Brand on the campus. Management feels NCSU Dining Services does an excellent job of executing the operating system and represents the Port City Java Brand well.
