Manhattan Bagel Continues Drive for Expansion

Manhattan Bagel(R), a brand of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:BAGL) , a leader in the quick casual segment of the restaurant industry, continued its expansion plans by signing a franchise agreement with VAM, LLC to open a Manhattan Bagel in Southern New Jersey.

VAM has signed a lease agreement to open the restaurant at 297 Rt. 72 West in Manahawkin, N.J. New Jersey is currently home to 26 Manhattan Bagel restaurants.

"We fell in love with the Manhattan Bagel brand and believe it's a good fit for us," said James Musico, owner of VAM. "We look forward to opening and operating this Manhattan Bagel restaurant to provide the residents of Manahawkin with a comfortable neighborhood meeting place. This is truly a win-win relationship."

When it opens, neighbors and guests in Manahawkin will be able to fill their breakfast, lunch and snack cravings with the Manhattan Bagel menu, featuring award-winning bagels and cream cheese varieties, made-to-order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and specialty coffee drinks, hearty soups, fresh innovative salads, baked goods and decadent desserts.
