Good Times Announces Second Quarter Sales Results |
|
Good Times Restaurants Inc. today reported its same store sales increased 12.8% in March and 4.4% for its second fiscal quarter. |
Boyd Hoback, President and CEO, said, 'The March increase was helped considerably by unseasonably warm weather in Colorado compared to the prior year, just as December and January sales were negatively effected by record cold and snowy weather. January same store sales were down 4.2%, February same store sales increased 3.8% and March's increase pushed us back into positive growth for the quarter. Same store sales include stores open at least 15 months and we are seeing some dramatic year over year growth in our newer stores.' Commenting on expectations for the balance of the fiscal year, Hoback added, 'We hope to accelerate our same store sales growth for the balance of the year with a new television campaign that began on March 19 that will continue through the end of the year, combined with an extension of our late night hours in May and a significant system-wide new product launch later this month that has performed very well in test.'
Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard has 52 restaurants, mostly in Colorado, serving high-quality, 100% all-natural Coleman beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fresh frozen custard.
