Toringdon Grand Opening to Benefit Victory Junction Gang Camp
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, a casual dining restaurant chain that serves an imaginative selection of high quality gourmet burgers to America's families, particularly women, teens and tweens, continues to expand in North Carolina with its first Charlotte-area location at Toringdon, scheduled to open on Monday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m.
The new 6,350 square foot Red Robin is located at 3415 Toringdon Way, off Highway 485 and Johnson Road, in the Toringdon Shopping Center. It seats 202 guests, will employ more than 120 team members and is 100 percent smoke-free.
As part of its grand opening celebration and community commitment, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold during grand opening week, April 11-17, to the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The camp is dedicated to enriching the lives of children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses by creating camping experiences that are fun, exciting, physically safe and medically sound.
"On behalf of the Victory Junction Gang Camp, we would like to say thank you to Red Robin and welcome them to the community," said Jules Moss, Director of Strategic Events. "This generous donation will allow these special kids to come and enjoy the best week of their lives, which is free of charge to all campers."
"We are thrilled with our East Coast expansion and feel honored to be able to support such a worthy organization through our opening activities," said Mike Snyder, Red Robin President, Chairman, and CEO. "Charlotte is a great fit for us, and we encourage everyone to come and join us during our grand opening celebration. Not only will you enjoy one of our 22 unique gourmet burgers, but you'll be supporting a great cause."
With the new Toringdon location, North Carolina is now the home of three Red Robin® restaurants. Additional locations can be found in Raleigh and Wilmington.
