Tomato prices have many seeing red

    • External Source Restaurateur Tammy Presnell has been slicing tomatoes a little thinner these days.

    It's not by choice, she said. It's economics. Paying close to $50 for a 20-pound box of tomatoes has Presnell trying to make them go a little further. Blame it on a tomato shortage and steeper prices.
