Denver-based Quiznos is defending itself against allegations that it has a policy against advertising on urban-format radio stations.
"We are not in business to alienate anyone," said Trey Hall, chief marketing officer for the sandwich shops.
Hall responded to a recent article in the Washington Times citing unnamed sources saying Quiznos pulled its advertising from urban radio stations earlier this year after an internal report said it should not advertise on the stations.
Hall said the company did not pull any advertising but frequently changes its ads and media buys.
