Saladworks stores had a banner year with a strong surge in same store sales. With fourth quarter results showing a 15% comparable store increase and year over year increase of 7%, Saladworks once again emerges as a leader in the industry.
Now, with 100 locations in 12 states, Saladworks has franchise agreements signed for five new U.S. markets, including Louisiana, Washington, South Carolina, Texas and Washington, D.C.
After nearly a year of in-store testing, Saladworks updated catering options are ready for public debut. Beginning this month, the new, expanded menu rolls out in stores.
Beginning Oct. 3, Saladworks customers will earn points for every item purchased from salads and wraps to cookies and drinks and be able to redeem them at any participating store.
With around 100 locations in 12 states, Saladworks grossed $65 million in system-wide sales in 2010. Currently, the franchise has 89 stores in various stages of development. Keeping in line with its growth, the company has a projection of 500 stores by 2016.
Saladworks has signed an agreement with franchisee Joe Mignone to open his third location in Delaware. The restaurant, scheduled to open this fall, expands the Saladworks brand in Delaware to five restaurants.
