Souper Salad, Inc. announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Pflugerville, Texas resident Denise Jordan to open a new Souper Salad restaurant on the North side of Austin in mid June 2011.

Souper Salad, Inc., parent company of Souper Salad and Grandy's restaurants, has named Tim Taft as its new Chief Executive Officer. San Antonio-based Souper Salad, Inc. is an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners and Summit Partners.

Souper Salad is the largest soup and salad bar family restaurant in the Southwest with 87 stores - Grandy's is an operator and a franchisor of family style, quick service restaurants with 72 stores
