Pizza Inn (Nasdaq: PZZI) today announced a new development incentive program for new and existing franchisees which will make it easier to invest in a new Pizza Inn Buffet franchise under the current economic challenges. The program is designed to ease start-up costs for new franchise locations during the first two years of the restaurants operation.

The news comes after Pizza Inn celebrated 50 years of service, saw consistent profits return, completed its sixth consecutive quarter of same store sales increases, announced a new management team, unveiled a successful new prototype store in Denton, Texas and was finally reunited with their old pizza spinning mascot JoJo - all in the same year.

PIZZA INN INC. (NASDAQ:PZZI) announced the appointment of Charlie Morrison as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Morrison has been serving as the company's Interim President and CEO and Chief Financial Officer since August 15, 2007.

PIZZA INN, INC. (Nasdaq: PZZI) today reported a net income per share for its second fiscal quarter ended December 24, 2006 of $0.01 versus a net loss of ($0.06) per share for the same quarter last year. The quarter resulted in net income of $152,000 versus a net loss of ($601,000) for the same quarter last year on revenues of $12.4 million and $12.8 million, respectively.
