CKE Restaurants announced a partnership with Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited to build and operate Carl’s Jr. restaurants in New Zealand, adding to Restaurant Brands’ current stable of KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks Coffee businesses.

Blended same-store sales increased 1.9% in the third quarter of fiscal 2012. Carl’s Jr.® same-store sales increased 2.0% and Hardee’s® same-store sales increased 1.8%.

Hardee’s® same-store sales increased 2.5% and Carl’s Jr.® same-store sales increased 2.0%.

CKE Restaurants, Inc.,today announced the opening of two Hardee’s® restaurants in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This marks the first of at least 12 Hardee’s restaurants to be opened in Kazakhstan over the next five years. Hardee’s is the first major western quick-service hamburger chain to open in the market.

Haley joined CKE as executive vice president of marketing for Hardee’s in 2000, and added responsibility for Carl’s Jr. marketing in 2004.

The Company expects to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for fiscal 2011 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on Friday, April 15, 2011 after the close of the financial markets.

The Company expects to report total revenue of $297 million for the fiscal 2011 fourth quarter, a decrease of $14 million, or 4.6%, compared to the fiscal 2010 fourth quarter.
